Overview

Account Manager (48284) Pudsey, England

Location: Leeds, Bradford & Harrogate. Work from home with the option to grow your area in your home location.

We are working with one of the UK’s fastest-growing companies in the vehicle warranty sector and are seeking new Account Managers to cover an area of the UK. This is an autonomous role where you can be your own boss, with a strong salary, package, laptop, phone, and a new fully electric company car (low company car tax).

Your role will be two-fold: providing excellent customer service to existing motor dealer accounts and actively canvassing and acquiring new business from target dealer accounts in your designated territory. Training is provided, including a first week at HQ, followed by 1:1 sessions and ongoing training and sales meetings.

The Role
  • Researching and maintaining a first-class knowledge of your territory and opportunities within it.
  • Developing and coaching the performance of new and existing dealers by delivering bespoke training to support their warranty sales.
  • Actively finding new ways to win business from target accounts using our consultative sales process.
  • Handling client queries and liaising with management as required.
  • Negotiating and overcoming objections to win business from target dealer accounts.
  • Planning ahead to deliver the growth required to support monthly new business KPIs.
  • Regularly reviewing territory to identify areas needing additional focus.
  • Planning your diary to maximise effectiveness in the role.
Experience Required
  • Sales experience and/or field-based environment is ideal but not essential; successful candidates have backgrounds in large retail (e.g., John Lewis/Next) or motor trade management.
  • Self-confidence and strong relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable with cold-calling and able to think on your feet.
  • Attention to detail and adaptability to change.
  • Highly self-motivated, hungry to succeed and perform at a high level.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to persuade and influence potential sales.
  • Willingness to propose ideas to management.

The Salary & Package
  • £50,000+ potential earnings per annum with uncapped commission (top Account Manager earning £78,000).

Work Schedule

Experience

Automotive experience preferred. Driving licence required. Some management exposure is preferred.
