Job Description

We are recruiting an Account Manager to join our team at our Heathrow and/or Midlands sites. If you are passionate about a career in forensic testing and want to utilize your expertise fully, this is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established, successful company with over 30 years of experience serving Police forces, commercial organizations, and public sector bodies in England and Wales.

This role involves maintaining and developing customer relationships, increasing sales, and supporting service evolution aligned with customer goals.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  1. Liaise directly with customer key stakeholders to understand and meet their requirements.
  2. Achieve sales targets for the division and company.
  3. Develop and implement sector sales strategies.
  4. Increase sales and profitability from existing and new accounts.
  5. Provide regular reporting and analysis.
  6. Maintain accurate customer records.
  7. Prepare complex commercial proposals in collaboration with operational teams.
  8. Assist with operational delivery when needed.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in Key Account Management within a B2B environment, with a track record of sales growth and commercial acumen. Excellent communication and presentation skills, understanding of scientific products and services, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software are required. Experience in workplace drug testing and procurement is desirable but not essential. A scientific background or education is advantageous.

The candidate should be motivated, enthusiastic, strategic, ownership-driven, and customer-focused. Willingness to travel is essential. A team-oriented approach, integrity, and a collaborative attitude are core values.

Security clearance is required for this role, which involves a minimum of five years' continuous UK residency.
