Job Description

We are recruiting an Account Manager to join our team at our Heathrow and/or Midlands sites. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing customer relationships, increasing sales, and supporting service evolution aligned with customer goals.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Liaise with customer key stakeholders to understand and meet their requirements
  • Achieve sales targets for the division and company
  • Develop and implement sector sales strategies
  • Increase sales and profitability from existing and new accounts
  • Provide reporting and analysis
  • Maintain accurate customer records
  • Prepare complex commercial proposals in collaboration with operational teams
  • Assist with operational delivery when needed

Qualifications

Candidates should have proven experience in key account management within a B2B environment, with a track record of sales growth and commercial acumen. Excellent communication and presentation skills, understanding of scientific products/services, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software are required. Experience in workplace drug testing or procurement is desirable but not essential. A scientific background or education is advantageous.

The ideal candidate will be motivated, enthusiastic, strategic, and ownership-driven, with strong interpersonal skills, integrity, and a customer-focused approach. Willingness to travel is essential, and a team-oriented mindset is valued.
