Responsibilities
  • Act as the main contact for customer account management;
  • Build trust and long-lasting relationships across purchasing, technical, and logistics departments;
  • Understand contract requirements and follow guidelines as per the DP World customer interface;
  • Support the development and administration of the company's finance programs within the department;
  • Assist in preparing pricing, cost estimates, and other commercial documents;
  • Defend pricing strategies internally and with customers;
  • Ensure timely delivery of solutions aligned with customer needs;
  • Forecast and track key account metrics, communicating progress regularly;
  • Identify opportunities beyond current service offerings;
  • Support quotation processes and presentations for existing and new business;
  • Report on new topics or activities not covered by existing contracts weekly;
  • Manage Change Request Forms (CRFs) and maintain detailed records;
  • Prepare and present in business reviews, focusing on commercial topics;
  • Monitor contractual KPIs like productivity, downtime, and sales revenue, reporting to management.
Minimum Requirements
  • Degree in related disciplines (Finance, Marketing, etc.);
  • Experience in account management, including pricing tools and databases;
  • Knowledge of the automotive industry and market-specific requirements;
  • Understanding of production and logistics processes and costs;
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels;
  • Customer-focused with strong relationship-building skills;
  • Ability to interpret data and draw conclusions;
  • Proficient IT skills, especially MS Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Organizational skills in a fast-paced environment;
  • Commercial awareness;
  • Willingness to travel within Oxford, Swindon, and Midlands;
  • Bi-lingual skills in German are highly desirable.
