Logistics Account Manager – £27,000 to £29,000 basic + bonus up to £5,000
Location: St Albans

We are working with a long-established and growing logistics business that is currently enjoying a strong year. With sites across the UK and a reputation for delivering excellent service, they are looking to add a Logistics Account Manager to their St Albans team.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop relationships with existing clients; serve as the main point of contact for their import, export, or combined freight requirements.
• Quote jobs by liaising with hauliers, shipping lines, and other suppliers.
• Pass confirmed work to the operations team in the modern open-plan office.
• Spot opportunities to grow accounts and retain business.
• Focus on relationship management, problem-solving, and commercial thinking rather than pure cold sales.

• Experienced account managers (ideally with exposure to logistics, transport, or similar).
