Job Title: Account Manager
ALH Recruitment are looking to recruit an experienced Account Manager with immediate effect for our industry leading client based close to Navenby, in Lincolnshire.
Role Purpose: Manage Key Account customers, ensuring quality customer service is delivered whilst protecting the interest of our client.
Main Duties:
- To abide by & promote health & safety, ensuring all approved policies & processes are followed.
COMMUNICATIONS
- Provide work trackers to show what is happening with all interactions. Listing out Quotes, PPMs, WIP and completed works.
- To be used by the KAM to keep on top and chase all works through to completion. Interacting with operations to ensure works down to KPIs and due dates
- Chase through quoted works to either obtain orders or rejections (making note of the reason for rejection
- Provide quick responses to any chase ups or queries.
- Be single point of contact building the trust with the client.
PROTEAN
- Ensure all contracts for maintenance are correct on the system.
- Correct pricing, Correct maintenance regimes and done on time.
- All works in progress have notes on the job to show what actions are needed/ have been taken.
- All sites and equipment recorded onto Protean correctly.
GROWING THE BUSINESS
- Ensuring that we are making clients aware of all products we can service and trying to expand into these areas
- If it is an FM account trying to expand into other “customers” they have on their books
- Assisting with budgeting for future spend with the account.
- To abide by & promote health & safety, ensuring all approved policies & processes are followed.
REPORTS
- Provide management reports on the account.
- Volumes of work trends
- KIP / SLA performance stats
- “sick” equipment - where things have had >3 calls in any one month - bringing it to the attention of Head of Key Accounts for further investigation
- Profit margins
PORTALS - IF CLIENT HAS THEM
- Monitoring them to ensure the wider teams are using correctly.
- Fully understanding how they work and how the client uses them
REVENUE
- Maximizing revenue where possible increasing spend with us.
- Ensuring all orders that come into the business are actioned efficiently and that they are on track with regards to quoted lead times.
MEETINGS
- Arranging and attending all performances meetings with the client
- Monthly meetings with head of key accounts to go through
- All performances and Project future spend.
