Position Overview

This position reports to the UK & Ireland Sales Manager and involves leading strategic growth in the eCommerce and logistics automation sector. ABB Robotics is seeking a dynamic sales professional to drive market expansion and develop tailored automation solutions for clients in these industries.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and execute account plans to grow ABB's presence in the eCommerce and logistics automation sector.
  2. Identify and engage new end users, uncover opportunities, and position ABB as a trusted automation partner.
  3. Build long-term customer relationships, negotiate specifications and pricing, and ensure high satisfaction.
  4. Collaborate with internal teams and channels to deliver seamless solutions.
  5. Monitor project pipelines, manage opportunity tracking in Salesforce CRM, and ensure timely follow-up.
  6. Manage risks by monitoring client financial health and contractual considerations.
  7. Minimum 3 years' experience in a sales role, ideally within automation or robotics.
  8. Proven success in business development and strategic sales.
  9. Experience in eCommerce and/or logistics sectors.
  10. Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship skills.
  11. Proactive, results-driven strategic thinker.
  12. Familiarity with Salesforce CRM or similar tools.
