The Role:

We are seeking a dynamic, field-based Account Manager to join a top manufacturer of commercial ovens, covering the Greater Manchester region. In this role, you will develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while identifying new business opportunities within your territory. You’ll be responsible for managing your own portfolio of clients and ensuring their satisfaction by providing real-time oven demonstrations and expert advice. If you thrive in an autonomous role and enjoy building strategic partnerships, this is the perfect opportunity for you. You’ll also receive a comprehensive 6-week training program, including an exciting two-week adventure in Italy!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with heads of sales at dealerships, and end users in the hospitality sector such as restaurant managers, and head chefs in Greater Manchester.
  • Identify and cultivate new opportunities within your existing territory by engaging with key business executives and stakeholders. Provide live demonstrations to ‘wow’ clients and boost revenue. The unique selling point of this business is offering an exceptional ‘Individual Cooking Experience’!
  • Attend several face-to-face meetings per week with distributors, dealers, and end-users. Deliver training on innovative, high-tech products that revolutionize the industry.
  • Using a multichannel approach you will be responsible for new business revenue in Manchester. Play an integral role in driving the company’s £350 million turnover to £500 million this year.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in account management or business development, with a proven track record in customer relationship building.
  • Strong background in field sales and managing your own territory. Familiarity with CRM systems to manage your pipeline effectively.
  • Comfortable working independently, managing your own schedule and targets, as well as collaborating with a wider team across regions.
  • A driven, tenacious individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in selling high-value products to distributors, dealers, or within the hospitality sector is highly desirable. A background in manufacturing or production is also a plus!
