About the Role

We're seeking a proactive and talented Account Manager to join our dynamic Medical Education team. This is an exceptional opportunity to become an integral part of a key client partnership, contributing directly to significant healthcare initiatives.

As an Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the strategic development and flawless execution of diverse Medical Education projects for one of our biggest clients. This is a highly visible position where you will:

  • Lead a High-Priority Account:Manage a substantial and strategically vital account focused on chronic conditions, ensuring seamless delivery across all MedEd workstreams.
  • Collaborate Across Integrated Communications:While your primary focus will be on Medical Education, you'll be part of an account that spans both MedEd and broader Brand & Medical Communications, offering valuable exposure to a 360-degree approach in healthcare.
  • Impact Patient Care: Contribute to meaningful projects that advance understanding and treatment in critical therapy areas like dermatology and auto immune diseases
  • Foster Client Partnerships:Build and nurture strong relationships with key client stakeholders, becoming a trusted advisor and ensuring their objectives are met with excellence.

This role is perfect for an Account Manager eager to deepen their expertise in Medical Education, take on significant responsibility, and work on an account that is central to our agency's success. You'll be part of a dedicated team focused on delivering outstanding results for a client who relies on our strategic insight and execution.

We offer a hybrid work environment that balances collaboration with independent work. Join us in the office every Tuesday and Wednesday for team meetings, agency updates, brainstorming, and client interactions. We also dedicate the second Friday of each month to in-person collaboration and team building.

What You’ll Do

You are the linchpin that connects our client's needs with the agency's capabilities, ensuring the successful delivery of impactful medical education programs.

  • Client Management: Build strong client relationships, understand their objectives, and proactively identify opportunities for growth
  • Project Leadership: Oversee medical education projects from initiation to completion, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery of high-quality programs.
  • Team Management: Lead and support project teams (medical writers, designers, etc.) to achieve project goals.
  • Financial Oversight: Develop and manage project budgets, track expenses, and identify opportunities to improve profitability.
  • Content Quality: Ensure the scientific accuracy and regulatory compliance of all educational materials.
  • Business Growth: Support business development efforts by identifying opportunities to expand client relationships and participating in proposals and presentations.
What You’ll Need
  • Previous experience in a client services role within a medical education / medcomms agency, with well honed project and client management skills.
  • Strong financial acumen (budgeting, SOWs) and understanding of pharma regulations.
  • Ability to develop strategic plans, solve problems, and identify new business opportunities.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for client and team collaboration.
  • A proactive, results-oriented approach with a strong commitment to client satisfaction.
  • Understanding of integrated communications, with a keen interest in how MedEd fits into the broader picture.
