Haynes Group are looking for an ambitious, experienced Account Manager to act as a Pre-Sales Lead Generation Specialist to join our sales team. It is an exciting time to join the organisation as you will be instrumental in driving new business growth and expansion.

What the role involves

  • New Business Sales & Retention- You will be responsible for ongoing management of inbound E3 Technical Direct Sales and E3 Technical Direct annual renewal customers.
  • Market Research & Lead Generation: You will be identifying customers and contacts through outbound calling, proactive marketing - LinkedIn and social media, email marketing, online research and networking with stakeholders and the people you connect with.
  • Trial to Conversion – Manage the journey from website enquiry, through to trail and conversion to a paying customer.
  • KPI Achievement & CRM Management: This is a new business development role that will require you to meet and exceed key performance indicators related to generating and progressing qualified sales leads, through to conversion and renewal retention. This will include ensuring that the CRM is up to date with accurate high-quality data.
  • Delivering a pure revenue growth model, through the acquisition of new client logo’s and or upselling into existing client accounts.
  • Responsibility for proactively managing the successful retention of existing customer contracts / renewals, across the direct account portfolio.
  • Reporting and analysis – management of monthly report / dashboard on KPI’s including new customers, upgrades, trials and cancellations.
  • Research, track, maintain and update leads
  • Make outgoing calls to develop new business
  • Contact prospects to qualify leads
  • Direct email marketing to key customers and prospects
  • Research and maintain lead generation database
  • Conduct customer research
  • Conduct customer or market surveys to obtain information about potential leads
  • Participate in the preparation of proposals and / or sales presentations

Requirements

  • You must have previous sales experience and have a proven ability to identify and qualify new business opportunities through outbound calling and online sales activities.
  • Mechanical, Vehicle Technician / Automotive background would be advantageous
  • Excellent English communication (verbal and written)
  • Experience with cold calling
  • Experience with research and maintaining databases
  • Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience in using CRM
  • High level of computer literacy
  • Highly numerate individual with the ability to work with data as your core sales product
  • First class planning, organisational and administrative skills
