Job Description

We are recruiting an Account Manager for our site in Heathrow and/or Midlands. If you are passionate about forensic testing and want to utilize your expertise, this role offers an opportunity to join a successful, market-leading company with over 30 years of experience serving police forces, commercial organizations, and public sector bodies in England and Wales.

This role involves maintaining and developing customer relationships, increasing sales, and supporting service development aligned with customer goals.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Liaise with customer key stakeholders to understand and meet their requirements
  • Achieve sales targets for the division and company
  • Develop and implement sector sales strategies
  • Grow sales and profitability from existing and new accounts
  • Provide reports and analysis
  • Maintain accurate customer records
  • Prepare complex commercial proposals with operational colleagues
  • Assist with operational delivery as needed

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will have a proven background in Key Account Management within a B2B environment, with a track record of sales growth and commercial insight. Excellent communication, presentation skills, and familiarity with scientific products and services are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software is required. Experience in workplace drug testing or procurement is desirable but not essential. A scientific background or education is advantageous.

The successful candidate will be motivated, enthusiastic, strategic, and customer-focused, with strong interpersonal skills. Willingness to travel is essential. A team-oriented approach, integrity, and a customer-centric attitude are fundamental to our culture at EFS.

Additional Information

Security clearance is required due to the sensitive nature of the work. Applicants must have five years of continuous UK residency to qualify.
