About the Role
We are supporting a leading UK distributor of industrial automation and control products in their search for an experienced Account Manager to cover the South East region, including London and surrounding counties.
This position will see you managing an established portfolio of around 50 accounts worth approximately £2M per year, while also developing new business across SMEs and blue-chip clients. Your role is all about building strong relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and maximising potential within your territory.
You will be home-based, with four days each week spent visiting customers and one day dedicated to planning and administration. Youll work closely with a highly experienced internal sales team and have access to product specialists who can support you in delivering tailored technical solutions.
About You
To succeed in this role, you should have experience in account management or B2B sales and be confident in managing your own territory. You will thrive on building relationships face-to-face, have a tenacious and target-driven approach, and be highly organised. An interest in industrial or engineering products is beneficial, although full training will be provided for the right person.
