Job Description

We are recruiting for an Account Manager to join our team at our Heathrow and/or Midlands sites. If you are passionate about a rewarding career in forensic testing and want to utilize your expertise, this is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established, successful company with over 30 years of experience in providing forensic services to police forces, commercial organizations, and public sector bodies.

This role involves maintaining and developing customer relationships, growing sales, and supporting service evolution aligned with customer goals.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Liaise with customer key stakeholders to understand and meet their requirements
  • Achieve sales targets at divisional and company levels
  • Develop and implement sector sales strategies
  • Increase sales and profitability from existing and new accounts
  • Provide reports and analysis
  • Maintain accurate customer records
  • Prepare complex commercial proposals in collaboration with operational teams
  • Assist with operational delivery when needed

Qualifications

Applicants should have proven experience in key account management within a B2B environment, with a track record of sales growth and commercial acumen. Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software. Experience in workplace drug testing and procurement is desirable but not essential. A scientific background or education is advantageous.

The ideal candidate will be motivated, enthusiastic, strategic, and customer-focused, with strong interpersonal skills. Willingness to travel is required. A team-oriented approach, integrity, and a proactive attitude are vital.

Additional Information

Due to the sensitive nature of our work, security clearance is required. Applicants must have five years of continuous UK residency. Clearance involves police vetting standards (NPPV/3 and SC).
