From assessments and health services to employability programmes and specialist support, we do work that matters with people who care.

We are looking for an Account Manager to identify, develop, and manage strategic relationships with regional employer partners and organisations. The role involves establishing and growing a pipeline of sustainable employment opportunities within the region, focusing on growth employment sectors to identify new opportunities and adapt to changing market demands. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with external partners and internal colleagues to meet personal, team, and business targets.

Salary:

Non-London: £25,800 to £30,900

  • Develop and own regional sector plans linked to the national employer engagement strategy.
  • Source and share market insights/feedback from key employer partners to support planning and analysis.
  • Identify, engage, and manage key employer relationships within sectors and regions.
  • Develop and manage employment opportunity pipelines, including vacancies, work experience placements, and job fairs.
  • Coordinate recruitment activities to meet employer needs.
  • Provide expert advice on workforce planning and training needs analysis.
  • Co-design employment routes to address recruitment needs.
  • Facilitate employer support activities such as sector insight sessions and assessment centres.
  • Support the Head and Director of Employer Engagement with key account management of strategic partners.
  • Engage and support regional partner organisations, developing programmes and secondments where applicable.
  • Share market knowledge and intelligence to help identify barriers to employment.
  • Act as an ambassador for customers requiring extra support, identifying workplace adjustments.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure customer and employer expectations are met.
  • Forecast future opportunities based on site caseloads and job requirements.
  • Promote market knowledge to address skills gaps and training needs.
  • Support internal teams in preparing customers for employment.
  • Demonstrate experience in recruitment, account management, and business development.
  • Achieve and exceed targets consistently.
  • Build rapport and relationships with employers.
  • Understand labour markets and recruitment trends; produce labour market analytics.
  • Respond proactively and reactively to large-scale opportunities.
  • Maintain a customer-focused approach with excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Manage conflicting objectives and negotiate effectively.
  • Be a strong team player with a flexible approach.
  • Previous experience in employability or related service industries is desirable.
  • Ability to travel independently within the designated geography.
