Qualifications

Job description

Are you a highly organised and proactive professional looking to make your mark in the world of account management? We’re in search of a dynamic Account Manager to join our team at Inspired Thinking Group (ITG), where you'll work on the exciting retail client account, Dreams. This role is central to our client delivery, blending project management, production coordination, and client servicing.

As an Account Manager, you'll serve as the day-to-day contact for our esteemed clients and suppliers, managing marketing and in-store campaign projects from initial briefing through to final delivery. You will be responsible for ensuring quality execution, cost efficiency, and seamless communication between all stakeholders, driving success and fostering positive client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of multiple marketing projects, ensuring all deadlines and deliverables are met efficiently.
  • Act as the main contact for clients, receive briefs directly, and translate requirements into actionable tasks for suppliers and internal teams.
  • Brief suppliers, request quotes, conduct detailed cost comparisons, and allocate work based on suitability, cost, and timelines.
  • Schedule artwork time with our in-house studio, manage approval processes with the client, and ensure timely sign-off.
  • Place orders, oversee production, conduct pack and quality control checks at supplier locations, and prepare pack manifests.
  • Coordinate with delivery partners, ensure accurate labelling, manage deliveries, and provide Proof of Delivery (PODs) to the client.
  • Schedule digital screen content across store and head office locations.
  • Provide excellent support for store queries via our helpdesk, ensuring accurate and timely responses.
  • Monitor stock levels, generate usage reports, and manage reordering where required.
  • Maintain accurate status of all projects on the Work-In-Progress board and ensure the store database is current.
  • Raise supplier Purchase Orders, invoice the client, and submit supplier performance reviews.
  • Process daily store orders ensuring timely dispatch and communication.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Strong skills in Excel including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and data analysis for reporting.
  • Comfortable and confident in communicating with clients, managing expectations, and building trusted relationships.
  • A collaborative approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
  • Clear and concise communication, both written and verbal, with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Adept at troubleshooting issues and providing quick, effective resolutions.
  • Prior experience in an agency or client-side marketing/production role, ideally within retail, is desirable.
