Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen with a leading UK independent tours specialist. They are seeking an Account Manager to join their team. This role combines both sales and operations, offering a unique opportunity to work closely with sports clubs and schools to promote, plan, and organise bespoke tours. This role is Monday to Friday and ideally office or hybrid in Essex with a salary of up to £40,000 dependent on experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Liase with companies, teachers, sports coaches and suppliers to discuss and plan bespoke trips
  • Build relationships, network, and sell to existing and new customers.
  • Provide superb customer service from initial enquiry to delivery of the trip
  • Plan itineraries, collate trip documentation, and ensure payments are received/made.
  • Assist on location with inspection trips, tournaments, and events at home & abroad when required
Qualifications:
  • Sales and/or strong customer service background.
  • Travel industry (or sports industry) experience or direct transferable skills.
  • Prepared to work on own initiative and in a team office environment.
  • A passion for sport and/or ski is essential.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, numerate, computer literate with excellent attention to detail
  • German, French, Italian, or Spanish an advantage, but not essential.
