Job description

Are you an ambitious account manager eager to make a difference in the field of infectious diseases? We’re seeking a proactive and driven individual to join our team, providing support for a variety of creative and innovative projects.

The role

We have an exciting opportunity for a seasoned account manager to oversee a range of internal learning programmes and field-based materials for medical and commercial teams, including standalone events, webinars and patient affairs activities.

Key responsibilities

  • Take the lead: Steer client and internal meetings. Proactively manage and drive diverse projects to success, coordinating medical writing, creative and compliance processes while ensuring that deadlines are met
  • Collaborate with excellence: Work closely with a talented cross-functional team and build strong relationships with clients to deliver outstanding results. Provide input into commercial and editorial resourcing needs on workstreams
  • Be a strategic partner: Support the account lead in shaping the account’s future, focusing on:
  • Establishing and building positive long-term relationships with client teams and medical experts to advance organic account growth and business development activities
  • Maintaining the financial management of projects, including forecasting, invoicing and budget reporting to clients
  • Developing the account with a proactive approach, identifying growth opportunities, helping with new project proposals and delivering creative solutions

What you’ll need

  • Previous experience in a commercial role within health communications, ideally on large medical affairs accounts
  • Exceptional project and financial management skills
  • A collaborative and enthusiastic approach to teamwork
  • A proven track record of delivering high-quality work and providing clear client guidance
