Overview

My client based on the outskirts of St Ives Cambridgeshire are currently recruiting for an Account Manager to join their team on a full time permanent basis. The ideal candidate will develop solid long-term relationships with assigned customers by fully understanding their requirements. Contribute to support growth of the business by maximising sales opportunities and achieving sales and gross profit targets.

Hours: Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm

Salary: £28-38,000

Key Responsibilities
  • Be the primary point of contact and build long-term relationships with customers.
  • Lead in negotiating contracts and agreements to optimise profit from key accounts.
  • Engage with new / prospective customers and provide solutions / proposals to meet the needs of both parties.
  • Provide Sales forecasts and track key account metrics i.e., revenue, profit, OTIF delivery.
  • Ensure internal MRP system is maintained and up to date with customer requirements.
  • Provide customers with updates on delivery and build statuses.
  • Compile and provide quotations based on specific customer requirements.
  • Understanding the fast-paced environment in which electronics customers operate and the need for quick response times.
  • As primary point of contact, support any commercial, quality or any other problems and ensure a satisfactory resolution is reached in a timely manner.
  • Arrange and support on-site customer visits, tours and general meetings.
  • Attend customer sites for meetings as and when required.
  • Arrange Contract Review meetings to discuss, plan and facilitate customer requirements.
  • Serve as the key link between all internal stakeholders within company and customers.
