Job description

Oxford PharmaGenesis is looking for an experienced and motivatedAccount Managerto join the team in ourCardiff office to support a busy publications-based account.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in publications project management and client management. You will help the team to deliver abstracts, posters, manuscripts, publication workshops and strategic publications planning. You’ll have a key role in ensuring excellence across client services, compliance and project execution.

The team is looking for someone who can join them in the Cardiff office at least 1 day each week, but you could also be based in another of our UK offices.

Key responsibilities

  • To support the management of publications from initiation to delivery.
  • To build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • To supervise and mentor Account Executives, fostering team collaboration and growth.
  • To develop and monitor project budgets, including proposals, reconciliations and forecasting.
  • To contribute to the development and refinement of training materials, best practices and process improvements.

We are looking for an experienced Account Manager with:

  • proven experience as an Account Manager in publications or medical communications
  • strong attention to detail and a commitment to excellence
  • confidence as a communicator
  • good project financial knowledge, with experience in budgeting and forecasting
  • a team-centric mindset and a proactive and energetic approach
  • familiarity with iEnvision and common client finance systems.
