About the Role
Are you a driven Account Manager with experience in facilities management and a passion for delivering high-quality cleaning services? We re seeking a proactive and customer-focused Account Manager to oversee a GBP600,000 portfolio across the Cambridge area.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and growing FM company where you ll play a key role in maintaining and developing strong client relationships, managing contract performance, and ensuring exceptional service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of cleaning contracts worth approx. GBP600,000 across multiple client sites.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their expectations are met and exceeded.
  • Lead, support, and develop site-based cleaning teams to deliver outstanding service.
  • Conduct regular site audits and ensure all operations comply with health & safety and company standards.
  • Monitor contract performance and drive continuous improvement in service delivery.
  • Handle staffing matters including recruitment, training, and performance reviews.
  • Identify opportunities for contract growth or added value services.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in facilities management, specifically within contract cleaning.
  • Excellent client relationship and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of H&S regulations and industry compliance.
  • Experience managing budgets, teams, and operational KPIs.
  • Full UK driving licence (company car and fuel card provided).
  • Based in or around the Cambridge area, with flexibility to travel to client sites.
