Job Description

This Account Manager role in this organisation is unlike any other, with a strong emphasis placed on sourcing and selling specialist steel products. The role will be supporting a variety of Customers within the Marie, Aerospace, Oil & Gas Renewable and associated sectors and will require a detail orientated commercial person.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Managing and developing customer relationships across multiple sectors.


  • Driving sales growth by meeting volume and margin targets


  • Handling enquiries, preparing quotes, and processing customer orders


  • Collaborating with purchasing and supply chain to ensure products are delivered as requested.


  • Identifying new business opportunities and converting leads into sales/


  • Supporting the Commercial Director and wider team to achieve sales targets in a collaborative team environment

What we are looking for:



  • Proven background in sales, business development or account management.


  • Strong commercial and financial acumen.


  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.


  • A relationship builder with the ability to understand technical products and client needs.


  • Confident working with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.


  • Experience in steel, engineering, or industrial supply chains would be advantageous, but is not a requirement for the role.
  • Able to work on-site 5 days per week with some flexibility shown when required

  • A passionate, diligent individual who is eager to join a business that has some exciting growth ambitions
