Account Manager.

The right person will be responsible for the pro-active sales of spare parts, to ensure through self-developed sales campaigns in cooperation with marketing, by following up and analysing the spare parts area as well as through your strong and convincing appearance towards customers, continuously improving the picture towards the customer through marketing-related measures (online presence, uniform presentations, creation of brochures, leaflets etc.).

The ideal person will come from an engineering or automation background with experience working with spare parts or equipment.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities: Account Manager

  • Increasing the spare parts business through proactive sales-promoting measures (e.g. increasing the quotation closing/hit rate) while supporting, and developing new sales strategies
  • Carrying out various analyses/evaluations to identify potential for improvement and growth opportunities
  • Planning and implementation of customer visits and customer presentations
  • Responsible for monthly forecast planning for incoming orders
  • Planning and implementation of sales campaigns in close cooperation with your counterparts in the various markets and marketing
  • Development of strategic partnerships
  • Joint development of a uniform sales team within the team
  • Increasing the representation of the Spare Parts division
  • Documentation and maintenance of the corresponding leading tools in the SP area (CRM/Salesforce/SAP)
  • Global coordination/meetings (global sales initiatives)

Your Qualification: Account Manager

  • Distinctive and strong communication skills (telephone + personal)
  • Several years of experience in proactive sales (preferably mechanical engineering)
  • Very good analytical skills and market knowledge
  • You are proficient in using the leading MS Office tools (Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint/Teams etc.)
  • Can work independently, goal-oriented, sustainably and in a structured manner.
  • You are characterized by your team spirit and willpower and enjoy working together with your team colleagues and supporting departments to achieve goals.
