Job description

We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to join us at Nationwide Platforms, the UK market leader in powered access.

Location and Salary

Based at our depot in Southampton, you will be responsible for maximising revenue and profit targets through effective telephone-based account management of an allocated portfolio of customers.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Conduct outbound calls to your assigned portfolio customers to ensure maximum account growth and capture opportunities.
  2. Record activity to keep customer contact data and influence levels up to date.
  3. Participate in outbound calling campaigns to generate sales leads.
  4. Demonstrate effective communication skills, understand customer requirements, and identify sales opportunities.
  5. Serve as the primary contact for your customer portfolio, achieving profitable growth targets in line with budgets.
  6. Convert enquiries into orders and meet revenue targets.
  7. Coordinate with internal stakeholders regarding machine exchanges and site moves.
  8. Maintain in-depth product knowledge to provide accurate information to customers.

  1. Experience in telephone-based account management, telesales, or customer service in a B2B environment.
  2. Passionate with a proactive, "can do" attitude.
  3. Innovative with a willingness to think outside the box.
  4. Skilled in customer needs analysis and sales negotiation.
  5. Customer-oriented with a results-driven approach.
  6. Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy.

  9. Proactive team player capable of working closely with colleagues at all levels.
  10. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  11. Confident with MS Office applications.
