My clients are one of the UK’s largest independent installers of car HiFi, cellular, and telematics. The team of mobile engineers are based across the UK & Ireland, offering a wide range of in-car & home installations to national retailers, insurers, fleet telematics providers, & wholesalers. Customer service & quality installations are central to their ethos, leading to steady business growth.

Due to further growth and new premises in 2023, my clients are seeking a dedicated, skilled individual who can work under pressure while maintaining excellent customer focus. The role involves building strong, lasting relationships with existing customers in the vehicle telematics industry. This position is not sales-based.

The business operates from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday, totaling 42.5 hours per week.

One in three Saturdays are worked, with additional Saturdays paid as overtime.

The role is based in Hyde and involves:

  • Scheduling new appointments & planning rollouts.
  • Preparing and delivering reports to clients and management.
  • Managing daily diaries to maximize productivity.
  • Providing excellent customer service.
  • Rearranging appointments as needed due to sickness or other issues.
  • Updating clients and informing them of appointment changes.
  • Using a bespoke booking system to record job notes.

Ideal attributes include:

  • Good knowledge of UK road links.
  • Strong organizational skills and logical thinking.
  • Ability to multitask effectively.
  • Excellent communication and administrative skills.

Requirements include:

  • Proficiency in IT, including MS Office and email.
  • Experience in scheduling & coordinating engineers or similar roles.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for clear and quick information sharing.
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently.
