Job description

I am working with large brokers who are seeking a Property & Casualty account handler to join the existing team.

This role will focus on renewals, dealing with slips and processing. You must have a wholesale broking background and experience using Acturis or Class.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Supporting the Account Executives in maintaining client relationships
  2. Supporting the Account Manager in the development and training of Account Handlers/Trainees
  3. Supporting/deputising for the Account Manager to coordinate resources across the team
  4. Assisting with new business development and managing the existing portfolio
  5. Analyzing client data for presentation to insurers
  6. Ensuring compliance with group and FCA procedures and regulations
  7. Liaising with agents and preparing MRC with appropriate information
  8. Preparing MRC and supporting documentation according to templates and requirements
  9. Ensuring accurate completion of Websure data fields
  10. Completing internal processes to obtain Evidence of Cover documentation and invoices
  11. Undertaking account handling responsibilities and liaising with agents as needed
  12. Explaining scope of cover and policy terms to agents
  13. Negotiating and liaising with underwriters for risk placement
  14. Maintaining high levels of client service and fostering good relationships
