Are you an experienced Account Handler with expertise in residential property insurance? Our client is looking for an Account Handler to help manage and grow their residential property portfolio while delivering exceptional service.

With a focus on client relationships, market insights, and regulatory compliance, this role offers a fantastic opportunity to thrive and grow in a driven and ambitious team.

Day-to-day duties

  • Maintain and develop the Residential Property Insurance portfolio for existing clients, including additional covers, and support Account Executives in preparing new client quotes.
  • Collaborate with clients to assess their insurance needs and recommend the most appropriate coverage options.
  • Gather and organise documentation for renewal meetings and manage the renewal/placing process, addressing risks and negotiating terms as required.
  • Provide prompt, high-quality customer service by addressing client queries and concerns efficiently.

Required skills

  • 3+ years in an Account Handler role or similar, within residential property insurance
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to manage and develop strong working relationships
  • Acturis experience preferred, Excel and Microsoft Office are essential
