RAW Insurance Brokers Ltd is a proudly independent Cumbrian brokerage with offices in Carlisle and Kendal. We specialise in commercial insurance for businesses across the construction, agricultural, engineering, care, leisure and hospitality sectors. With ambitious plans for growth, we’re looking for a driven Account Handler to join our expanding team.

What you’ll be doing:

• Managing a portfolio of commercial insurance clients with professionalism and care.
• Handling renewals, mid-term adjustments, and new business enquiries.
• Building strong client relationships and providing tailored insurance advice.
• Working closely with insurers to secure the best solutions for our clients.
• Supporting our sales and account executives as part of a collaborative team.

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience in insurance broking or underwriting (commercial lines preferred).
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Cert CII qualification (or working towards it) would be an advantage, but not essential.
• A proactive, client-first attitude with a desire to grow alongside the business.
