Go Vocal, a global govtech scale-up, is looking for a purpose-driven Account Executive (UK)to help grow our client base across the UK. If you care deeply about strengthening democracy and love working with the public sector, this role is for you.

You’ll be a key driver of our growth in the UK market, signing local authorities and counties, and shaping our presence in the region.

What will you do?
Grow our client base

Own the sales cycle from prospecting to closing.

Identify opportunities with local governments, present tailored solutions, apply consultative selling techniques and turn interest into lasting relationships with key decision-makers.

Develop the UK market

Bring structure to our go-to-market motion.

Source own opportunities through outreach, referrals and nurturing warm leads, primarily through cold calling. Represent Go Vocal at conferences, become an industry expert.

Collaborate cross-functionally

Work closely with the UK team (currently 3 people) and with product, marketing, and customer success to align efforts and feed local insights back into our strategy.

Who are you?

You have 3-5 years of SaaS sales experience and preferably have sold to local governments before

You have an excellent understanding of UK local politics and the public sector, and strong interest in the domain of public governance & community engagement.Experience in consultative selling in a newer and rapidly changing, competitive market is a plus.

Enthusiasm, humor, empathy and the ability to convey this through phone, email and in-person communication. People have to enjoy talking to you. And you have to enjoy talking with them.

You are a consultative seller with an entrepreneurial mindset, approaching things structurally and organized

You are an excellent communicator who connects with people across channels and formats

You are outcome-driven, self-motivated, and ready to take ownership of this key market

You are collaborative by default: you thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven team

You are based in the UK.
