About the Role

Matterport is looking for an SMB Account Executive who is enthusiastic and performance-driven to sell our products and services across several industries, including AEC, Commercial Real Estate, Retail, Facilities Management, and Hospitality. The ideal candidate is a hunter, who can be technical and is a seasoned sales professional. With a solid track record of success, the candidate must also be fluent in the latest market trends, comfortable working with technical content, and possess the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  1. Proactively seek opportunities to sell Matterport products within SMB companies.
  2. Build and manage a sales pipeline for SaaS and Hardware sales.
  3. Accurately forecast sales pipeline to meet quarterly quotas.
  4. Understand customer needs and tailor solutions using our product offerings.
  5. Prepare RFI, RFQ, and RFP responses for potential clients.
  6. Deliver sales and technical presentations both online and onsite.
  7. Utilize CRM and sales tools like SFDC, Groove, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Zoominfo to discover leads and generate new business.
  8. Grow and nurture existing accounts for SaaS upsell and hardware sales.
  9. Re-engage potential or churned customers.
  10. Participate in trade shows and product demonstrations.
  11. Identify larger opportunities and coordinate with colleagues for long-term success.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • 2-3 years of relevant sales experience, such as AE or BDR roles.
  • Proven success in sales, especially in technology sectors.
  • Experience with value-based selling, ROI, and MEDDPICC methodology.
  • Ability to develop compelling value propositions.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills in team-selling environments.
  • Experience in real estate, insurance, restoration, construction, or travel industries is a plus.
  • Fluent in English, with proficiency in French and intermediate or fluent Spanish or Italian.
  • Willing to travel up to 25% as needed.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both in-person and remote.
