Account Executive – Step Into a Growth Role with a Creative, Fast-Paced Pet Brand

The Animal People Recruitment Company is proud to be exclusively partnering with a vibrant, fast-growing consumer brand in the pet and lifestyle space. We’re now searching for a commercially minded Account Executive to join their passionate team and play a key role in driving customer success and sales growth.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with B2B sales or account support experience who’s ready to take ownership of a client portfolio, learn quickly, and grow into a full Account Manager role within the next 6–12 months.

What You’ll Be Doing:

You’ll be based in their Stevenage office full-time, supporting and growing relationships with a mix of national and international retail accounts. Your day-to-day will include:

  • Managing a portfolio of trade customers and helping them grow their listings and sales

  • Responding to inbound leads and converting interest into lasting partnerships

  • Supporting key account admin and customer service, including order follow-ups and promotional planning

  • Working closely with your manager to identify new sales opportunities and create tailored account plans

  • Representing the brand at UK and international trade shows (5–10 times/year)

  • Collaborating with internal teams across operations, marketing, and product to deliver a seamless customer experience

We’d Love to See:
  • Experience in a B2B sales, customer support, or account coordination role

  • A background in pet care, beauty, party goods, gifting, or FMCG is a plus — but not essential

  • A confident, friendly communicator who enjoys building relationships

  • Proactive, organised, and results-focused — you’re comfortable handling multiple priorities and taking initiative

  • A team player who’s eager to learn, grow, and get involved

  • Full UK driving licence (for occasional events and trade shows)
