About the role
We are recruiting for an Account Executive to acquire new commercial customers, whilst retaining existing customers by providing exceptional customer service.

This is a fully remote role allowing flexibility to work from home.

Overview of duties
  • To develop and maintain the relationship with existing customers and to target new customers from the marketplace by the effective marketing of current prospects
  • Establish and manage with each customer a renewal strategy in accordance with the companies' procedures/aims to maximise renewal success
  • Responsibility to ensure that customers are correctly and adequately insured for all of their insurance exposures and that correct advice is given
  • To liaise with Account and Claims Handlers to complete all supporting documentation to maintain and achieve customer service standards
Person Specification

Knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • High level interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build successful, mutually beneficial business relationships
  • Planning, organisational and time management skills
  • Experience in dealing with commercial business insurances programs
  • Knowledge of commercial products and insurance market
  • Proven track record of retention and integrated sales
  • Passion for customer services and professionalism
  • Proactive and able to prioritise and effectively manage own workload

Education and/or Experience

  • At least 5 years commercial insurance experience
  • Proven track record of retaining and organically growing a book of business
  • Driving license
