Job Description:

Smartsheet is seeking an experienced sales professional to join our team as an Account Executive for Mid Market Italy. You will have a proven track record of quota attainment and developing customer accounts. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute in a hyper-growth market for a category leader.

This position is part of the Commercial Sales team, based at Smartsheet in London, UK (hybrid or remote work permitted), reporting to a Regional Manager, Commercial Sales.

You Will:

  • Manage full sales cycles, including developing account plans and coordinating cross-functional teams
  • Handle strategic and transactional sales opportunities
  • Drive account revenue growth
  • Consult with clients to define business objectives and success criteria, ensuring perceived value and fostering renewal and expansion
  • Manage your portfolio for expansion and up-sell opportunities, building strong client relationships
  • Lead new business activities, including inbound/outbound prospecting, events, and partner-led initiatives to acquire new clients in Italy
  • Become a subject matter expert on Smartsheet products and services

You Have:

  • At least 5 years of full-cycle quota-carrying sales experience in Italy
  • Experience managing B2B customer relationships and employing solution/consultative selling techniques
  • Ability to collaborate across departments to manage the customer lifecycle from implementation to renewal
  • Strong skills in analyzing opportunities for cross-sell and up-sell within existing accounts
  • Experience prospecting and managing a designated territory to maximize revenue
  • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office
  • A passion for new technologies and sales best practices
