We are looking for a motivated and self-driven Account Executive for the North England & Scotland area to actively drive our sales growth in this region.

Your tasks:
• Increase brand awareness of IKA in the North England & Scotland area.
• Building and maintaining long-term relationships with customers and companies.
• Proactively creating new opportunities and penetrating new accounts to drive growth.
• Focus on increasing sales and achieving annual targets.
• Reporting and data maintenance in the CRM system.
• Work closely with the sales team to identify and implement new business opportunities.
• Travel within the territory is required, home office is 1-2 days a week.
• Awareness of the territory and competitive landscape would be an advantage.
• Meeting with customers to understand existing and future challenges.
• Manage and coordinate tradeshows within the region and participate in them
• Make sales analysis and submit weekly job report.
• Provide support with demonstrations, installations and customer training.

Your profile:
• Degree in a scientific or economic field (e.g. biology, chemistry or a related subject).
• Experience in sales or customer service is an advantage, but not essential. General work experience is expected.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with customers and partners.
• Independent and structured way of working and willingness to take responsibility.
• Experience with Windows-based software, including MS Office, CRM and MRP software.
• Full Driving license and willingness to travel.
• Resident in the UK, ideally in the North England area.
