This is a fantastic opportunity to join a quality independent chartered insurance brokerage in the Leeds area. This is a great business with a low staff turnover and a high rate of client retention. This role has been created due to consistent year on year business growth.

This is a duel role, partly client servicing and partly new business. You will inherit a portfolio of existing commercial clients, worth circa £70k income and made up of a wide variety of commercial risks of all types and sizes. As well as this, there are a lot of quality leads coming into the business, which will provide you with a source with which to grow your portfolio.

You will be supported by a team of experienced brokers and account handlers, who have access to all insurers, composites, Lloyds and specialist schemes; there is a dedicated claims team able to provide your clients with a fantastic service in the event of a claim.

Ideal applicants will have a commercial insurance background, either with previous client facing experience or perhaps a broker / account handler looking to step up into an Account Executive positon. A good all round knowledge of most classes of commercial insurance is preferred, previous use of Acturis would be beneficial (not essential) and progress towards CII studies (which will be fully supported by our client).
