Account Executive - Financial Lines

Location: London

Salary: £48,000 - £55,000 + annual bonus, plus commission on new business and renewals

A boutique and expanding broker with new offices in the City of London is looking to hire an Account Executive. The role involves managing a £400k income book of UK retail mid-market to corporate clients. The client base includes:

1. 50% PI-led clients
2. 10% FI clients
3. The remainder includes Property, Tech, and Marketing companies

FI clients pay from £50k GWP to £500k and include small banks, IFAs, wealth managers, and payment processors.

The main responsibilities include building and maintaining relationships with these clients to ensure retention, growing the book through proactive new business efforts, and assisting with the management of Account Handlers within the team. Regular meetings with clients and insurers are expected.

The role requires presence in the London office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with remote work on Mondays and Fridays. Benefits include PMI, DIS, pension, and discounted insurance products.

The ideal candidate will have experience as an Account Executive with a solid grounding in PI and broad commercial insurance knowledge. Aspiring Account Handlers with strong communication skills and a drive for new business will also be considered. Experience with Acturis and mid-market clients is desirable.
