Overview

We are currently working a retained search for a customer of ours who is a global leader in cross-border payments and money transfers. They seek a Field Sales Account Executive to join their successful and growing team. This is a remote role, however travel will be expected 3/4 times per week. They are offering a market-leading salary and uncapped commission plan.

Role overview

The Account Executive will be responsible for expanding the Agent network across the assigned region by identifying prospects and signing up new Agents in line with the business strategy. Responsible for presenting my customers product to potential Agents and managing the entire sales process from identifying prospects, cold calling, face-to-face meetings, conducting presentations and user demonstrations.

What you\'ll do
  • Prospect potential Agents in writing, by phone and in person in order to effectively outline my customer\'s product and service and the mutual business benefit of becoming an agent.
  • Spends a major majority of time (around 80%) on the road, meeting potential partners across your entire region.
  • Supports the Retail Business by expanding the sub-agent network in the assigned regions.
  • Maintains a database of all prospect Agents, contact details and status of sales activity.
  • Ensures that all sales activity reports are reviewed, analyzed and followed up as appropriate.
  • Ensures all Agent contract and agreement documentation is to the relevant standard and copies are retained.
  • Supports management in the achievement of the business plans and targets (network, volumes and profitability).
Requirements
  • Full clean driving license
  • Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining customer/client relationships and identifying opportunities to improve business success for both parties.
  • Prior exposure in presenting product/service opportunities to clients/customers.
  • First-class interpersonal skills, able to build and maintain credible relationships with Agents in person and over the telephone.
  • Strong presentations skills; ability to present to prospective Agents in a professional format.
  • Excellent organisational skills; ability to prioritize own workload and liaison with geographically dispersed team.
  • Experience across Money Transfer and/or Payments is beneficial.
  • Language skills: German (Native or Fluent), English (Fluent or Professional). Additional languages of interest include: Turkish, languages across the Balkan region (Albanian, Bulgarian, Greek, Montenegrin, Serbian).
