Job description

This is a really great opportunity to join an independent chartered insurance brokerage conveniently based on the outskirts of Leeds with easy access to major road networks.

Following on from a restructure, the need has arisen to take on an additional account executive to focus on a mixture of general commercial and commercial motor risks. This will be a dual role to inherit a substantial portfolio of existing clients as well as growing the account (realistic and achievable targets).

You will join an excellent team, working closely with the divisional director with access to all major markets as well as some exclusive schemes and relationships and will be supported by teams of account handlers and administrators leaving you totally focused on client work.

This is an external client facing role, so previous experience would be preferred although out client is not averse to appointing an experience broker or account handler ready to make the move into a full account executive position.

You will need to have at least 3 years commercial insurance experience, both general and motor preferred. Progress towards CII qualifications is desirable and will be fully funded. You will be smart, professional, a confident communicator and career focused.
