Account Executive / Divisional Manager – Yorkshire

This is a fantastic opportunity, perfectly suited to an experienced commercial account executive looking to move into a management role. Our client is a very well respected commercial insurance brokerage, long established, with a low staff turnover and an enviably high level of client retention. This role has become available due to internal promotions.

In this “Head of Division” role, you will lead a team working on numerous specialist commercial industry sectors. As well as the day to day running of the team, you will also take a lead on the larger clients and work closely with the MD, planning and implementing your growth strategies, using your creative flare and ideas to move this already successful division forward.

Ideal applicants will be dynamic and forward thinking, keen to pursue a management career and confident in taking ownership of the business. You will be managing client relationships, be involved in new business generation and the wider strategic direction of the business.

Preferred applicants will have a good, solid, all round commercial insurance knowledge, ACII or progress towards, a proven track record in client retention and able to implement new business strategies. Some previous management experience would be beneficial but is not a pre-requisite.
