Reporting to the Director of European Sales, the Account Executive will oversee sales for medium and large enterprise accounts with annual revenues of €25 million or more in the UK and Ireland. This role involves working with sales leaders to promote the TraceGains platform in the region and is key to regional growth. The position can be based anywhere in Europe—UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Spain, or Italy—and requires proximity to an airport for up to 20% business travel to the UK or Ireland.
Typical daily activities include:
Generating new business through prospecting, managing, and closing opportunities within industry segments.
Building trust by delivering persuasive, high-quality presentations that highlight value and impact.
Demonstrating deep understanding of prospective clients’ business processes and aligning our product offerings to their needs.
Executing the sales process from qualification through discovery, negotiation, and closing.
Enhancing product awareness through participation in tradeshows, industry events, and relevant technology organizations.
Essential requirements:
A strong team contributor capable of managing their own book of business while sharing knowledge with a diverse team.
A diploma or degree in business or a related discipline is preferred.
Motivation to develop the UK/Ireland market, build a pipeline, and meet growth targets within the EMEA team.
Willingness to travel up to 20% for customer meetings and industry events.
Sales or industry experience in fields like food manufacturing or B2B technology solutions.
Experience with CRM systems; Salesforce.com is preferred.
