Tailored for SMEs, accountants, and bookkeepers, Mimo makes managing Money-In and Money-Out seamless.

We are a growing team of +15 dedicated professionals and are excited to expand our sales team for the Accountant & Bookkeeper ecosystem in the UK. We’re only 24 months old, but have secured funding from leading angels and top institutional investors.

Role Overview:
We seek a dynamic Account Executive to ramp up our sales efforts within the accountant and bookkeeper ecosystem in the UK. This is a pivotal role where you will get the opportunity to accelerate our growth by both identifying and signing customers, in a tight feedback loop environment with marketing & product. You will be crucial to boost growth and establish Mimo as the trusted partner in the ecosystem for everything business payments and built-in financing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prospect potential leads and identify potential customers.
• Generate a quality pipeline of prospective customers through outbound calls,LinkedIn, email and marketing activity
• Rapidly move into a closing role, to conduct product demos and in-depth needs analysis to understand customer requirements.
• Join the commercial team to represent Mimo at industry events across UK
• Maintain accurate records of leads, conversations, and pipeline progress in our CRM system.
• Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to develop targeted strategies and proposals.
• Provide market feedback and insights to continue shaping our product offering.
• Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity.

Your Path:
In this role, you'll gain a deep understanding of Mimo’s growth strategy. Starting further up in the funnel, you'll be able to quickly grow into closing deals, managing even more of the sales cycle. This role will also give broad exposure to marketing, customer success and customer support, but also client onboarding & compliance. You will get to collaborate with a dedicated team from each function to broaden your commercial skillset.

Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience in a commercial team, preferably in a B2B software environment.
• Proven track record of success in a high-performance environment.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment
• Passionate about software/fintech and eager to contribute to a growing company.
• Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools is a plus.
