Role Purpose:

Carat is the European media agency for Kellanova, a dynamic and progressive FMCG company with three business units: Cereals, K Snacks, and Salty Snacks. Kellanova is a key client for Carat, with a longstanding relationship (over 10 years) that has recently been renewed. Annually, we plan and buy over 90 million Euros of media (more than 50% digital) across 29 markets, focusing on the UK (largest market), Spain, Germany, France, and Italy.

The Carat Central team includes Strategic Planners, Communication Planners, and Market Planners aligned with the three business units.

The role is for an Account Executive within the Cereals and K Snacks Market Planning team, working on iconic brands like Kellogg’s Masterbrand, Special K, and Rice Krispie Squares. The focus is on best practice delivery of implementation planning and buying across all European markets.

The ideal candidate will possess a balance of analytical skills and media strategy/communications planning, with a level of gravitas to confidently manage projects and engage with senior clients.

The candidate should have comprehensive media knowledge, think holistically across channels, promote innovation and integration, and foster community across local OMD markets.

The purpose of the Account Executive role is to:

  • Support the Account Director in planning, launching, and reporting for European client teams.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across local markets, digital buying hubs, and the broader dentsu team to meet client needs.

We seek an ambitious, proactive, and enthusiastic Account Executive to join a fun, dynamic, and experienced team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Account Director and Account Manager to service clients, manage daily deliverables, and plan, launch, and report on media campaigns. There will also be opportunities to participate in wider agency projects and initiatives.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

Managing the Business:

  • Support the Client Account Director in managing multiple workstreams to meet client expectations.
  • Coordinate team deliverables, ensuring timely and accurate responses and updates.

Relationship Management:

  • Assist with client liaison and administrative tasks.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with local and specialist teams across Europe and digital hubs.
  • Engage with key local and global media owners to learn and develop relationships.

Finance & Budget Management:

  • Work with AD and Operations Director to ensure budgets are accurate and approved.
  • Coordinate with specialists to keep Lumina media plans updated reflecting the latest strategies.

Reporting Oversight:

  • Collaborate with local and hub teams to compile post-campaign performance reports.
  • Assist AD in preparing performance presentations like Kube reports.

Communications Planning:

  • Work with CAD and Communications Planner to brief teams on campaign activities.
  • Support creation of holistic media recommendations aligned with Kellogg’s objectives and local nuances.
  • Help develop detailed tactical plans and execute them effectively.
