Job description

· Account Executive – E-Learning

· Training Provider – 3 days WFH & 2 days in Leeds Office

· £35,000 to £45,000 + up to £20k OTE

Company & Role:

Go-to marketplace for digital learning in the Further Education sector to support providers in selecting products & technology.

As Account Executive you will be responsible for identifying 100% new business, aiming to sell off-the-shelf training courses. Once onboarded, the accounts are passed onto customer success. You will be selling directly into colleges and training providers across the UK. This is not an account management role. It’s about opening doors, building relationships, and closing deals. You’ll need a sharp commercial instinct, an obsession with outcomes, and a strong belief in the power of digital learning to improve lives.

This role will suit someone who has experience in E-learning / Training / Tech / SaaS or if you have experience in B2B sales, selling training services or similar services to Corporates instead of Education directly.

Office days are Mondays & Wednesdays in Leeds.

Key Responsibilities

New Business Development

* Sell off-the-shelf e-learning content packages directly to colleges, training providers and universities.

* Proactively identify and qualify new leads through outreach, inbound activity.

* Develop a strong understanding of each client’s goals, priorities, and challenges – and position the right content solutions to meet them.

* Close deals and exceed individual revenue targets Sales Process Ownership.

* Build and manage a personal pipeline of qualified opportunities.

* Own the full sales cycle – from lead engagement to proposal to signed contract.

* Track progress using CRM (HubSpot), keeping records accurate and up to date.

* Collaborate with our internal marketing and product teams to refine messaging and materials Market Engagement.

* Stay close to the Education sector trends, funding updates, and curriculum priorities.

* Provide feedback from conversations to help shape future content packages and go to-market strategies.

Requirements

  • Right to Work in the UK
  • Minimum of 2 years proven experience in new business sales – ideally in education, e-learning, SaaS, or training
  • Comfortable working the phones, writing sharp follow-up emails, and booking your own meetings
  • Must have strong organisational skills
  • A confident closer who thrives under pressure and celebrates wins
  • Ambitious, target-driven, and motivated by commission and purpose
  • Curious about the Education sector and passionate about making a real difference
  • Resilient – doesn’t fold at the first “no” and keeps pushing for the “yes”
