This is a fantastic opportunity to join a National Insurance Broker in Shepparton, manage a portfolio of small to mid sized clients (businesses) providing them advice regarding their risk exposure and assisting them in finding the insurance products they need to cover the business in case anything was to go wrong while developing long-term client relationships. This is a fantastic chance for candidates from various financial services backgrounds to join and excel in the insurance industry.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Manage a portfolio of local businesses
  • Provide tailored insurance advice and risk management solutions
  • Prepare quotes, renewals, endorsements, and necessary documentation
  • Liaise with underwriters and insurers to negotiate terms
  • Identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities within your portfolio
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance products and market trends
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies

Requirements :

  • 2+ years of experience working within financial services
  • Tier 1 Insurance Broking qualification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail and organisational ability
