We are looking for Account Executives willing to work in a start-up environment, be self-driven, identify exciting new customers and work autonomously in a frictionless environment to reach the rewarding quota.

As one of the early joiners in a high growth organization and in a high growth market there will be opportunities to grow with ShipBob. Of course, there will be gaps in learning, processes to be established, and market nuances to learn, so the successful candidate must have a high appetite to learn, improvise and develop. Don’t panic though, the role will be heavily supported by the team that rolled out 7,000 other clients and opened 35 fulfillment centers.

What you’ll do:

  • Bring in new business to attain revenue targets using self-sourcing techniques.
  • Self-source prospects who will convert to customers using internal databases, creative online searches, self-created cadences and marketing campaigns, referrals and other means.
  • Qualify prospects and sell ShipBob’s value propositions to bring in new business that is operationally fit for ShipBob.
  • Connect with potential customers, both self-sourced and pre-vetted by the Business Development or Partnerships team, to determine a mutual fit.
  • Move customers efficiently through the sales process, ensuring all expectations are properly set and understood.
  • Negotiate pricing, contract terms and general partnership agreements.
  • Have a thorough understanding of both our tech offerings and Operational capabilities.
  • Maintain an updated, clean and thorough pipeline to ensure proper forecasting as well as up to date CRM notes so account status is clear.
  • Give feedback to management to continue to improve the sales process and Merchant experience.
  • Ensure proper handoff to the post sales team.
  • Identify local nuances and help improve processes, tools and documentation.
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as necessary.

What you’ll bring to the table:

  • At least 18 months as an Account Executive or Sales Representative in the eCommerce fulfillment or OMS/WMS/TMS tech space.
  • Ability to foster great teamwork and motivate those around you.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organization and time management skills.
  • Established track record of success in a Sales position.
  • Ability to understand client needs and handle the negotiation process.
  • Computer skills, especially MS Excel and CRM software.
