Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an Account Executive to join our expanding team in Bardon. You will be one of the Client’s key contacts, responsible for maintaining strong communication both internally and externally.

Duties include:

  1. Able to answer and resolve client queries within the agreed timescales.
  2. Able to identify and escalate issues/complaints to the appropriate person and see them through to resolution, including process changes to prevent reoccurrence.
  3. Liaise with necessary persons/teams if processes have not been followed, affecting the client.
  4. Monitor service levels through reporting, checking report contents, and circulating within agreed timeframes.
  5. Understand contracted KPIs and the impact of failure, as well as forecasting and monitoring.
  6. Ownership and maintenance of Client Service Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  7. Liaise with suppliers and external contacts where necessary.
  8. Produce accurate client invoices and supporting backup within the expected timeframe using the company's finance system.
  9. Investigate and resolve any invoice discrepancies before invoicing or following client queries.
  10. Check and issue all client reports: daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly, ensuring timescales are met. Own creation where not centralized.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in account management is desirable.
  • Experience working in logistics/warehousing.
  • Strong PC skills, including all Microsoft Office programs.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Commercial awareness.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
