As an Account Executive, your mission is to manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting and pitching through to closing and account growth. You will be responsible for generating new revenue while building strong, lasting relationships with operators across the hospitality sector.

Job Description

Role: Account Executive
Location: Edinburgh
Salary: 40k+ DOE
Type: Full-Time
Reports to: Head of Partner & Client Growth

Key Responsibilities
  • New Business Development
  • Identify and target hospitality operators aligned with Stampede’s ideal customer profile
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline through research, prospecting, and outreach
  • Track and report on opportunities, activities, and forecasts in the CRM
  • Sales Execution
  • Deliver tailored product demos and presentations that align Stampede solutions with client needs
  • Negotiate terms, handle objections, and close deals to exceed revenue targets
  • Support marketing campaigns by converting leads into opportunities
  • Onboarding and Account Management
  • Ensure a smooth handover to the Onboarding Team and Account Management Team
  • Stay engaged with strategic accounts to drive adoption and long-term growth
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities across Stampede’s ecosystem
  • Market Engagement
  • Represent Stampede at industry events and networking opportunities
  • Stay up to date on hospitality trends to anticipate customer needs and market shifts
  • Use competitive insights to refine sales strategies and positioning
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Share customer feedback with Product and Marketing teams to improve offerings and positioning
  • Contribute to commercial planning sessions to shape Stampede’s growth strategy

Qualifications
Who You Are
  • 2+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, ideally in or hospitality tech
  • Proven ability to generate pipeline through outbound efforts, including confident and effective cold calling
  • Comfortable picking up the phone and thrive in proactive outreach to engage, qualify, and convert prospects
  • Demonstrated success in managing a sales pipeline and consistently hitting or exceeding revenue targets
  • A strategic thinker who can balance execution with relationship building
  • Strong communicator and natural collaborator with a bias for action
  • CRM-savvy and data-driven, with experience managing pipeline and reporting on performance
  • Organised, proactive, and motivated to grow both customer success and Stampede’s reach
Bonus Points For
  • Experience running a full 360 sales cycle from first contact through to closing and account growth
  • Knowledge of the hospitality, POS, or customer engagement space
  • Familiarity with HubSpot and prospecting tools such as ZoomInfo for lead generation, pipeline tracking, and reporting
