The Account Executive will play a crucial role in expanding our carbon reach by working with customers and supporting existing ones to exceed their goals. We are looking for someone who has a passion for building relationships and driving the adoption of our products.
You will work closely with product managers and the onboarding team to successfully onboard new customers and guide them to get the best out of our technology. This role also collaborates with data scientists and engineers to ensure we deliver what our customers need.

Key Responsibilities:
- Qualify leads and ensure a healthy marketing and sales pipeline
- Engage in client and stakeholder meetings to understand their requirements
- Be the primary liaison with Grid Edge clients to ensure their needs are met and exceeded
- Identify and develop new prospects through research, seminars, and networking events
- Provide virtual/in-person product demonstrations to sales leads
- Work autonomously and help identify, onboard, and educate partners
- Articulate our value proposition to partners and generate leads
- Lead commercial negotiations and secure long-term contracts
- Generate new business by building and maintaining relationships with prospects
- Build long-term relationships with key clients and work with them on their carbon reduction journey
- Work closely with marketing, project management, and implementation teams to drive customer success
- Own a sales target, manage a personal pipeline, and deliver against CSAT performance
- Contribute to social media and PR activity, pipeline management, and reporting
Requirements:
- Proven successful business development, customer success, and/or consultative sales experience in the energy sector
- High Emotional Intelligence and excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding relationship-building and sales skills
- Excellent organizational, time management, and project management skills
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to communicate with individuals at varying levels
- IT literate in MS Office and ability to manage multiple competing priorities
- Bachelor's degree with relevant work experience and experience maintaining a CRM system
