Account Executive / Sales Support (Bicester)

Are you a confident communicator with experience in account management or sales support? Looking to join a growing company where no two days are the same?

Equation Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of an employer for an Account Executive / Sales Support position based at a modern depot in Bicester.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic business supplying specialist industrial equipment to a wide range of clients across the UK. You'll play a vital role supporting the sales and service teams, managing key client accounts, and helping to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

What You'll Be Doing:

  1. Managing and nurturing a portfolio of client accounts
  2. Providing day-to-day support to the sales and hire desk teams
  3. Identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities
  4. Using CRM systems (ideally Sage CRM) to track sales and customer data
  5. Participating in client visits, exhibitions, and supplier meetings
  6. Acting as the link between internal departments to ensure smooth customer journeys

What We're Looking For:

Essential:

  1. Previous experience in account management, customer service or sales support
  2. Commercial awareness and confidence dealing with B2B customers
  3. Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
  4. Proficiency in CRM systems (Sage CRM or similar)
  5. A proactive, positive, and customer-focused approach
  6. Located within 15-20 miles of Bicester

Desirable:

  1. Experience in construction equipment, plant hire, or industrial services
  2. Familiarity with Sage accounting systems
  3. UK driving licence
