Based in North-West Leeds, near Shipley, this role offers hybrid working to provide flexibility. Reporting to the Director, you'll be responsible for managing and expanding an established portfolio of loyal clients, many of whom have longstanding relationships with the company. Working alongside a dedicated team of Account Handlers, you'll have the support needed to deliver outstanding service and achieve business goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide tailored insurance and risk management solutions, ensuring successful renewals and new business growth.
  • Work closely with colleagues and management to identify opportunities, address challenges, and contribute to overall team performance.
  • Expand and develop the client base through proactive networking, cross-selling, and up-selling.
  • Maximise potential leads provided by the company and explore innovative ways to increase quote volume.
  • Develop a strong understanding of each client’s business, industry risks, and approach to insurance.
  • Maintain compliance with FCA regulations and company service standards.
What We're Looking For:
  • A strong background in commercial insurance with experience in client-facing roles.
  • A passion for business development and growth, with a proactive and results-driven mindset.
  • Ideally, an existing portfolio of clients to bring across and enhance the book of business.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with confidence in conducting client visits.
  • A commitment to providing excellent customer service and identifying solutions tailored to clients' needs.
  • Experience working with insurers, clients, and insurance systems (Acturis knowledge is a plus).
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
What's in It for You?

Joining this team means becoming part of a supportive, forward-thinking business that values its employees. You'll benefit from:

  • Competitive salary with an annual pay review and performance bonus.
  • Hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 from home after settling in).
  • 27 days annual leave and bank holidays.
  • Pension scheme with 5% employer-matched contributions.
  • Flexible benefits package, tailored to your personal needs.
  • Group Life Assurance (4x salary).
  • Paid maternity, paternity & adoption leave (3 months fully paid).
  • Professional development support, including funding for relevant industry qualifications.
