Job description

Referment is working with a dual-regulated FX and payments technology company that helps SME and mid-market businesses manage currency risk and move money across borders. Its platform combines multi-currency payments with self-serve hedging tools, distributed through partner channels as well as direct relationships, and the business has grown quickly following significant recent investment.

This is a commercial leadership role for a proven senior revenue producer. Reporting to the Head of Sales and based in central London, you will own the largest and most strategic client accounts end-to-end, with full closing and execution rights across the product set, while building and leading a team of Analysts, BDRs and Senior BDRs beneath you. You are accountable not just for your own number but for the commercial output of everyone you lead.

The Role
  • Own the firm's largest and most strategic client relationships end-to-end, with full closing and execution rights across the product set, including forwards and options.
  • Drive enterprise-level revenue growth, identifying and landing accounts that need longer sales cycles and more complex structuring than standard new business.
  • Build, lead and grow a team of Analysts, BDRs and Senior BDRs, setting the standard for how the team sells.
  • Step in as a second closer whenever a colleague needs support landing a deal — actively encouraged, not incidental.
  • Represent the business at a senior commercial level with strategic clients and partners, and partner with the Head of Sales on enterprise growth strategy.
  • Champion platform and tooling adoption across your team so automation and good process, not manual workarounds, scale with headcount, and use commercial data to guide where effort is focused.
  • Work cross-functionally with operations, onboarding and product teams so strategic accounts get service matching their scale.
What We're Looking For
  • A strong, demonstrable track record in enterprise or strategic account sales, not just high-volume transactional selling.
  • Full confidence executing across an FX product set, with genuine product depth beyond spot and forwards.
  • Prior experience leading, managing or formally mentoring a sales team.
  • Strong commercial judgement and the ability to operate with real autonomy.
  • Comfortable being accountable for outcomes beyond your own personal number.

Useful additional background includes direct experience managing junior sales talent, a record of winning and growing genuinely enterprise-scale clients, familiarity with FX market structure and how to sell against banks, brokers and fintechs, and experience improving a team's use of sales tooling, CRM or automation.

This could suit a senior enterprise seller or sales team lead at an FX broker, payments fintech or bank who wants full execution rights on a broad product platform and a genuine mandate to build a commercial engine. You will need the right to work in the UK.
